I’m passionate about serving Creative Businesses by helping you to share your message with the world, in your own voice, enabling you to reach as many people as possible.
The more people who know about you and your business. The more customers you have. Simple.
Some of the most fabulous people, with the most outrageously awesome ideas aren’t marketing themselves. As the thought of self-promotion makes them feel icky or they’re not sure how to get started.
If this is you, “Well Hello!" I’m Lucy Charlotte Brand.
I want to...
And show you how to authentically market your business online. Yourself.
My passion for writing, curiosity for what makes people tick, (or buy in this case!) teamed with my technical knowledge and love for analytics, enables me to help you cut through the noise, stand out from the crowd and reach the people who love what your about and want to buy from you.
Where it all began
With a BA Hons in Media Studies, (Yep! That’s right, Old Skool social media!) and International Relations, (a desire to understand how the world works, and the challenges faced by many, to see if I could make a difference).
Oh wait, hold-up
Back-up! My love affair with words and wanting to understand people goes further back to my A levels. I graduated in English Language and Literature, Media Studies and Psychology. This is where my initial excitement for writing, communication and how peoples’ minds work started.
I worked for a publishing house in Cambridge. It was awesome. I worked on a wide range of publications with people from all over the world. Satisfying my interest for language and curiosity for what topics were popular and engaged people.
I was an Editor for medical magazines. Again, loved this job. Learning the latest trends, selecting the perfect topic, refining and polishing manuscripts and collating them in a beautiful publication. But, after a while, it lost its excitement. And I felt it still wasn't quite what I was searching for. There was a part of me that felt like something was missing. But I couldn't quite put my finger on it.
So I moved to Brighton
And landed a job in charge of online marketing and communications for a language company. That was it! I’d found it! My passion! Digital Marketing, I loved it. Social media, writing copy, email newsletters, SEO (Search Engine Optimization), data, (nom, nom, nom. I love data) devising strategies and campaigns, analytics, training colleagues. Also, the industry moves at lightning speed so I never felt stagnant. Always more to learn.
Awesome! I'd finally discovered
But, I wasn't serving Creative People who inspired me and making that difference and big impact in the world I've always wanted. So, I made the leap and setup Lady Digital and since then, I've NOT looked back.
With 6 years digital marketing experience and over 5 years in publishing, I have a wealth of knowledge and expertise to help you and your business reach more people and secure more bookings and sales.

The personal stuff
Originally from Cambridge, UK, I now live in Brighton with my fabulously geeky husband. I’m a free spirit with a passion for fashion, Garuda, (a form of yoga) and romantic dinners.
I love adventure, Spirituality, tea, (huge fan, I am British after all!). And living my wonderful life with gratitude.
When not working, or playing wife, this almost vegan Lady, can be found glued to YouTube watching educational and inspirational videos, mediating, enjoying a Lush bath, getting creative in the kitchen, enjoying BBQs on the beach with friends, (when it's not raining!) or planning her next adventure.
